FAQs
How Smart money works
Insider buys come from SEC Form 4 filings: open-market purchases only, $50K or more. Grants, option exercises and sales are left out. Insiders must report within two business days.
ARK buys come from ARK's daily holdings files: new positions and meaningful adds. Congress trades come from House periodic transaction reports, which can be filed up to 45 days after the trade. Big-fund buys come from quarterly 13F filings, published about 45 days after each quarter ends.
Returns are measured from the close on the day a buy became public, so they only count moves you could have acted on. Research, not investment advice.
