Pulling today's catalyst list…

How Catalyst Watch works

We only watch smaller companies, where a single piece of news can genuinely move the price.

Earnings dates come from the reporting calendar; everything else comes from company and market news, read for wording that signals a real event — a regulator decision, a takeover approach, a big contract or a raised outlook.

Predicted impact estimates how far a catalyst can move the stock and how soon you'd need to act — deal and FDA news on tiny companies rank highest, and an imminent date pushes it higher still. Sort by Impact to see what to act on first.

The score blends the type of catalyst, how fresh the news is and how close the date is. Higher means it deserves a look sooner.

This is a research shortlist, not a recommendation. Always do your own research before you trade.

Why are only small companies listed?

A single order or approval barely registers for a mega-cap, but can re-rate a small company overnight. That is where catalysts pay.

How early is early?

Earnings show up as much as a week ahead. News-driven catalysts appear within about 20 minutes of the story hitting the wire.
